Here's the engine ready to be "stripped".  Shortened G50 is nearby.

Some old SC heat exchangers were installed temporarily.  993 exhaust or headers
will be used after fittment is complete.

Nice fenders.  Those tires are 255/40/17 on 8.5" rims.  We will use 335/30/18 on
13" wide rims.

After a quick snap of the fingers, a varioram induction system is installed!

Not really.  It took about 90 minutes because the wiring had to be transfered.

Then we installed some Jet-Hot Coated Racer's Group headers

The detail work inside these is partiucularly nice, and they end in standard 2.5" header collectors.

Those collectors seal much better than the porsche two-bolt flanges used on bost aftermarket headers.
I just replaced the ones on my 3.4 with a set like these.
