Aquired from Kelly Moss Racing August 2003.  This should work.  A GT3 Supercup motor, according to KMR and Porsche Motorsports it makes 440 HP.  If you order one from the factory you can get one for the low-low price of $65K.  Um...that ought to work pretty good in a 1800 lb car.
 


 
 

COMPLETE WORLD CHALLENGE SPECIFICATION ENGINE (440HP) BUILT BY PORSCHE MOTORSPORT NORTH AMERICA FOR KELLY-MOSS MOTORSPORTS.

THIS IS A ONE OWNER ENGINE WITH APPROX. 30 HOURS SINCE LAST REBUILD. LEAKDOWN PERFORMED BY KELLY-MOSS ON 08/04/03

RESULTS WERE 2% - 3% IN EVERY CYLINDER. THIS ENGINE WAS IN PERFECT RUNNING ORDER WHEN REMOVED AND HAS BEEN STORED AT KELLY-MOSS FOR THE PAST 4 MONTHS SINCE. THE CAR WAS CONVERTED TO FULL GT3RS SPEC. AND THAT IS THE ONLY REASON ENGINE WAS REMOVED. FINISHED WITH RACING NOW AND THE CAR, ENGINE AND ALL SPARES ARE GOING. I AM INCLUDING THE ENGINE COMPUTER (ECU) WITH THE LATEST PROGRAMMING, THE COMPLETE EXHAUST SYSTEM ( WITH DUAL CATS.) AND THE SPECIAL CUP AIR FILTER.

THIS WOULD BE A GREAT ENGINE TO UPGRADE A CUP CAR, CONVERT AN EARLY AIR COOLED CAR TO WATER COOLED, A SPARE ENGINE FOR EITHER A CUP OR GT3R OR A SUPER STREET ROCKET. RECOMMENDED 100 OCTANE FUEL. OBVIOUSLY THERE IS NO WARRANTY ON A RACE ENGINE, HOWEVER IT WAS JUST CHECKED OUT AS I MENTIONED ABOVE,

AFTER BEING STORED AND IS IN PERFECT WORKING ORDER. THE FACTORY PORSCHE ENGINE CRATE CAN ALSO BE PURCHASED SEPARATLEY OR IF YOU USE 'BUY IT NOW' I WILL INCLUDE THE CRATE - WORTH $1,000. THIS ENGINE AND PARTS TODAY WOULD COST OVER $65,000 TO REPLACE.
