Kevin is driving in third in GT3, thirteenth overall.
He pits for an axle, gas, tires.
Even though it is misting dry tires are in use. The
pit stop it quite lenghty, amd Mike Conte is now behind the wheel
9:27 trg 68 IS STILL IN THE PITS and has dropped back
to 15th overall, 6th in class.
Overnight, a corbvetteovershort the corner and drove into Kevin in turn 6 takingf out the left rear quarter panel.
An axle had broken in the wee hours and a second replacement
is being furiously installed from inside the car.
Axles are responsible from the slide from 2nd to Sixth in GT3.
9:28 the car is refired dropped form the jacks and
off it goes. 533 laps

9:42 Just minutes later the cluods dump and 68 is in for a set of rains.
The pitstop is done quickly, and the Millenium Porsche blocks the pit
exit, necessitating a manual backup.
Then a drag race down the pits The pits turn into a river
even in the kiosks the teams use. Just then a Ferrari takes a shortcut
across the grass into the pits...Yellow is thrown
Th millenium car blocked us, even though he was 4 laps ahead...looks
more like an oversioght than an intentional block, they have been cooperative
all along...Yellow still shown after 15 minutes.

11:00 AM - The waiting game...in over an hour the standings have remained
the same a scars tip-toe through the slick track.
Bruno Lambert is next in the car. Hell of a good guy just like
the entire crew.
