1986 944turbo with 1989 944turboS engine

 
162K miles with 78K miles on 1989 944turboS engine.

12K miles ago:

• Replaced Engine with turboS.  Original engine went into the Widowmaker
• Fresh fire ring head gasket
• Raceware head studs,
• Replaced rod bearings
• rebuilt 951S turbo
• Cyntex chips to 289 HP
• New axles
• New Tires (Pirelli P7000 225/50/16+245/45/16), still 80-90% tread
• Full alignment
• Cool Brakes
• Progessive springs and uprated torsion bars on bilstein struts and shocks
• Very nice Black leather interior, slight cracking to dash (typical)
• 7+8x16" Phone Dials, pait marginal, too much brake dust
• Polar Silver (blue tint) on black, painted 6/02. (Car is still wet in photos)

Interior: Decent seats black leather and in very good condition

Exterior:  Nice repaint with all seals removed, hatch off, etc.  New mylars. Original color was Platinum. No major body damage, all panels original.

Suspension

•  Cool Brakes
•  250lb progrssive springs
•  28 mm torsion bars
•  Stock sways
•  NO LSD
•  New axles 12K miles ago
•  Bilsteins all around.
•  Car handles very nicely.
Engine
 Replaced Engine with turboS from a costomer who rolled his car after major work below performed.  Original engine went into the Widowmaker

• No limited slip, though one is available.

History

 This was an AutoThority dev car driven by Al Colins and later Scott Hempstead.
 I bought it for the motor which makes some ungodly amount of power (435 HP on race gas) which resides in my non-sunroof turboS suspended '87, a.k.a. the Widowmaker.
