Once the windsheild frame is in place the rest of the panels can be hung.


Note how much higher the tail lights are than the old 911 bodywork.

This is a detail of the extended door hinges.  BIG MISTAKE.  The new doors hang about 1/2" high er than the old ones.  Had I known that I could have simply offset the hinges.  As is I ended up slotting the holes and rewelding.

Here's the body with the front bumper.

Evil.

All the panels fit nicely.  The hood gap is about 1/8" all around.

Pretty good progres for a car hat showed up 5 days ago, and withme workign a real job M-F and a Porsche Club picnic on Saturday!  I have about 12-14 hours in it, a fair portion of which was hanging the doors.  Still need to tweek the rear fenders.
